Coasting

When we departed on our long, long honeymoon a couple of months ago, we speculated that we’d return when pigskins fly -- in late August around the time of "the first college football kickoff." This weekend, collegiate pigskins are flying -- and we still find ourselves 3000 miles from home.

We’ve been meandering along the Oregon coast for the past couple of days, enjoying the cool weather and awesome views. We’re now heading south through California, with plans to visit San Francisco. Then we'll turn towards the Deep South and tailgating Nirvana!

You got to see the Roses in bloom. When Bill worked in Pasco Washington about 9 years ago, Amanda and I went out for two 3 week visits. On one of our trips we went to Portland, Or. We had coats so it was sometime in the winter, she was about 15 months old. We drove all over to find the rose garden. Only to arrive to see just stick of bushes. Silly us, didn't think roses don't bloom in the cold.
We also visited Seatle, Wa. The market and space needle. I think they have add stuff don't remeber the computer screens (as you looked out over the city or at least that's what I thought I saw in your video) We also saw Mt. Saint Helen.
Please tell me the name of the waterfall with the bridge. We stopped there on our travel from Pasco, Wa to Portland. I often see pictures of it, just can't recall the name of it.
Enjoy the rest of your long long honeymoon.
Your cousin,
Bobbie
