3172.3 Miles of Bugs

We've crossed the 3000 miles plateau on Seemore's trip meter. He's certainly due for a bath, but that's easier said than done.

I don't know WHAT I was thinking in "Money Is Always Interesting" when I speculated we might travel 3000 miles on this trip. We haven't even gotten halfway and we've already passed that mark. So that adds up to...a LOT of diesel fuel. This is why I'm happy to not save every receipt! Sometimes it's better if you just don't know...

We're presently camping in Missoula, Montana.

Sean & Christy, I'm a friend of Harry's and I think its great that you all are travelling to such great places....most newly weds don't ever experience the sights and places that you are travelling to. Anyway, I'm going up on a backpacking trip to the Wind River Mts. in Wy. on the 7th of Aug. and will be doing a little trout fishing and hiking. If you all get down below Jackson Hole around that time, the check out a place called Big Sandy Lodge (on Internet) It would be a great place to camp out....I think the campground by the lodge is free or you can stay in log cabins. They also have horseback rides for a full day for about $85 but you wouldn't believe where they will take you....all the way to Black Joe or Big Sandy lake. Good luck the rest of your trip Bill Summers

Hi everyone, thanks for your comments.

Brig, we had a BLAST in Kansas City. Thanks again for your hospitality! WE look forward to the next chance we get to "camp" in your driveway, ha ha!

Bill, thanks much for your tips. We will remember to check Big Sandy Lodge the next time we're in the Jackson area. We really enjoyed Jackson and the Tetons.

Harry, I'll get to work on some more videos asap. The last couple of days we've seen more shops than wild animals. But I know we can come up with something interesting.

As always...thanks for checking out our blog. ;-)

Thanks Kelly! We will keep the blog updated so long as we can find an Internet signal. So far, we've had great luck on that front.

I've had a few issues with my video software recently, so I'm trying something different. The editing may be a little rough until I figure out this new program! But I'll do my best to keep the video coming. :-)
